Department of Geography

Department of Geography, K.D. College of Commerce & General Studies was established in the year 2007. It was started initially as B.A/ B.Sc. General Course. From the time of initiation the Dept. of Geography experiences a steep growth. Currently, the department tenders Under Graduation course (B.Sc. Hons.) from the year 2017 with a sanctioned strength of 30 students. Now the department has 4 faculty members specialised in various branches of Geography with 1 Lab. Attendant. Since the beginning, teaching in the department has its emphasis on the traditional and applied components of geographical knowledge.
